Gender Sensitization - POSH Training


The POSH training is centered around creating awareness about POSH Act 2013 which stresses on Prevention, Prohibition and Redressal of sexual harassment incidents at the workplace. By the end of the workshop participants will be able to understand the following:

  • Need and history of the Act
  • What comes under sexual harassment, workplace, extended workplace, aggrieved women and what are the different form of sexual harassment
  • What is the complaint procedure
  • Understanding gender
  • Reflection of values in both life and work
  • Multiple roles of Women in society and at the workplace, and the challenges they face
  • Socialization and gender roles
  • Building gender awareness
  • Diversity and Inclusion: Key to the future

Sensitizing everyone about gender is important inorder to create dignified workplaces. It helps in creating a culture impact on our mindset because at the end it is not about men or women but about being a human.

I attended One day workshop on “Prevention of sexual harassment at the workplace” . It was very well executed and well Planned workshop which covered almost every aspect related to POSH and also provide clarity over the Role of HR explained with Role Play and Case studies.




This is to share that Dr. Aparna Sethi has conducted a Women’s Day Session at our organization on POSH. The session conducted by her, received an amazing response from the employees of our organization due to her involvement, level of passion and zeal to make this an everlasting memory for many of our employees.
