Often, I am asked if is it necessary to get the POSH training done at workplace? What is the requirement? If we get them trained then that might create another kind of bias, don\u2019t you think so? Employees may stop interacting with each other thinking about the consequences of POSH.<\/p>\n

Well, it is true there might be a lot of things that will come in both management and employees mind, however this training will definitely try to avoid such bias and also make then realize what are the dos and don\u2019ts.<\/p>\n

POSH (Prevention of Sexual Harassment) training<\/strong><\/a> is crucial at workplaces to create a safe, respectful, and inclusive environment, ensuring employees understand their rights, legal obligations, and how to prevent and report sexual harassment, ultimately fostering a positive work culture.<\/p>\n

Here’s a more detailed explanation of why POSH training is essential:<\/p>\n

1. Legal Compliance and Ethical Responsibility:<\/strong> The Sexual Harassment of Women at Workplace (Prevention, Prohibition and Redressal) Act, 2013 (POSH Act). POSH training also helps to create an inclusive workplace where all employees feel valued and respected, regardless of gender or their background. It provides a safe and respectful workplace which leads to an increased employee morale, job satisfaction, and productivity. This in return helps the organization to grow in the world of business.<\/p>\n

The companies should also keep in mind to change the committee members after every 3 years as per the rule mentioned in the Act. By proving appropriate training to the employees at the right time ensures the organizations growth and reputation in the world of business.
